Ajay Agarwal

Ajay has an experience of over 18 years in the field of Real Estate, Litigation and General Corporate Advisory matters and has handled various complex transactions. He is a law graduate from the University of Calcutta.

Before joining F&M, Ajay worked for about 11 years with Mani Group and 2 years with EEPC India, the premier trade and investment promotion organisation in India sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.

Ajay has expertise in drafting deeds and documents for residential projects, mixed-use projects, commercial projects including office buildings, hotels & serviced apartments, shopping malls, retail shops, medical colleges & hospitals, including conducting due diligence and title verification in respect of the acquisition and disposal of lands, structures, buildings, flats, and commercial spaces. It is his in-depth knowledge that helps in identifying core issues and aids in strategizing every matter by evaluating how it should be structured, developed, operated, and divested and facilitating negotiations to overcome challenges and coordinate closings.

Ajay’s multi-disciplinary practice in various Courts and experience in litigation helps in strategizing and resolving complicated and disputed civil, family, criminal and matrimonial matters, including title suits, partition suit, writ, domestic violence, divorce, restitution of conjugal rights, child custody, visitation rights, maintenance, alimony, trial strategy and settlement negotiations through personal engagements.

His notable clients include RPSG Group, Diamond Group, Star Cement, GPT Group, M.P. Jewellers, Tushar Choudhary (Himadri Group), Kenilworth Hotel.
