Sharmistha Ghosh

Sharmistha has over 14 years of experience; she joined Fox & Mandal in 2005 as an intern and, after that, as an Associate in 2009, primarily looking into the Firm’s litigation and dispute resolution practice. She has experience in representing clients before various Tribunals, including the National Company Law Tribunal, National Green Tribunal, Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal, Central Government Industrial Tribunal, and Labour Court.

She also has experience in representing various Public Sector Undertakings, Maharatna Companies and Corporations before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, High Court at Calcutta, High Court in Cuttack, High Court at Patna, High Court at Karnataka, High Court at Guwahati and High Court at Bombay and Goa on matters relating to labour laws, environmental laws, taxation, corporate laws, and contractual issues. She has also appeared before the Hon’ble Circuit Bench of the Calcutta High Court at Jalpaiguri, various districts, including the District Court at Uluberia, Raiganj, Dubrajpur, Suri, Howrah, Burdwan, to name a few.

Sharmistha has experience dealing with numerous arbitration proceedings for Indian and international clients. She is known for her analytical skills, time management, and perseverance.
