Vikrant Pachnanda is an Advocate-on-Record in the Supreme Court of India and a Partner in the Delhi Office at Fox & Mandal. He has been practicing across various forums such as the Supreme Court of India and various High Courts, Tribunals (APTEL, NCLAT, NCLT, NCDRC, NGT, CERC, CAT, State and District Consumer Commissions), and District Courts across the country.
He does international and domestic arbitrations and advises clients on aviation law-related issues. An alumnus of Cornell and Leiden Universities, Vikrant is the Asst. Standing Counsel for the New Delhi Municipal Council before the Delhi High Court, apart from being a panel counsel for several other government departments/corporations.
He was also recognized and awarded the Letter of Appreciation from the Hon’ble Justice Deepak Gupta, Former Judge, Supreme Court of India; is the Founder & Managing Editor, India Law Journal; is the Head of the Cornell International Lawyers’ Network, India Chapter and also invited to make presentations at Harvard University and the Cornell University Asia-Pacific Leadership Conference at Bangkok in 2019.
Vikrant has been advising and representing clients such as Uber, Indiabulls, NBCC, GAIL, and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, amongst others.
He has published articles and presented papers on various legal and policy-related issues in multiple newspapers/publications, including the Asian Yearbook of International Law, Asialaw IP Review, International Sports Law Review, Harvard Law Review, and India Business Law Journal. His book “A Guide to Indian Aviation Law” was published by Thomson Reuters in 2019, and he has edited two books on Air and Space Law published by Bloomsbury. He also recently contributed an article to a book namely “A Handbook on International Aviation Law” that was published by Thomson Reuters.
