Ashok Kumar Dhar

Born on 6th February, 1949, passed Bachelor of Arts (Honours in English) in 1969, Master of Arts in English in 1971, passed Bachelor of Laws in 1973, became Solicitor in December, 1976 and obtained Bell Chamber’s Gold Medal by securing highest marks in Attorneyship examination in 1976. He was an Article of Mr. D. Mandal, Partner of Fox & Mandal, Solicitors and thereafter joined the firm and became partner in 1984.
Since his joining the firm, he is practicing in Calcutta High Court, Supreme Court of India and various Courts and Tribunals in India. His special interest is in labour and employment laws which cover a wide range of labour laws in India, various beneficial legislations for the employees, hiring of professional directly or on contractual basis. He advises the Management on various issues of labour laws and represents them in various Courts, Tribunals and Forums.
